The packaging facility at Oswestry is one of the most advanced in Europe and supplies every major supermarket chain in the UK. The purpose-built cheese cutting operation runs around the clock packing in excess of 40,000 tonnes per year of the nation’s favourite cheeses into a range of consumer-friendly formats. The site, which employs around 350 staff, also serves as the central distribution hub for The Cheese Company and handles in excess of 8 million cases of cheese per year.
