Visitors to Monosol AF in Hartlebury will be able to witness film manufacture from start to finish. The process starts with polymer mixing, the polymer mix is then heated and injected into an extrusion press which converts the mix into a film. Bags are “blown” by air and a highly automated process converts strips of bags into individual units for a variety of uses. The completed bags are packaged utilising a high speed, fully automated process.
