Previously known as Glanbia Foods UK, The Cheese Company is an international food company which serves markets for Dairy products across the world. The packaging facility at Oswestry is one of the most advanced in Europe and supplies every major supermarket chain in the UK. The purpose-built cheese cutting operation runs around the clock packing in excess of 40,000 tonnes per year of the nation’s favourite cheeses into a range of consumer-friendly formats. The site, which employs around 350 staff, also serves as the central distribution hub for The Cheese Company and handles in excess of 8 million cases of cheese per year.
