Ross-on-Wye
Established in 1971, ABT is a manufacturer of cabs for the forklift truck and materials handling industry which includes chassis, safety structures and other complex fabrications. Using batch production methods they have an annual volume of 2500 units with a turnover of £6.4m (in 2005) and employ approx 100 people in a factory of 5000 sq. metres. Their customer base includes Linde (Merthyr, Basingstoke), JCB, Terex, Morgan, Ransomes, Modec, Benfords, Johnston, Thwaites and LTI. They offer complete customer service of Design (CAD/CAM), Metal preparation, Welding, Pre-treatment, Painting, Assembly and Transport and logistics.
